HOW IT WORKS: 5 STEPS IN 5 MINUTES

Experience the system in action

This is a free 5-minute curtain-raiser for the 5-day automated masterclass. No email required. In other words, this "self-paced" 5-minute exists to help you decide if the "instructor-led" 5-day is for you.Currently in active development, one-third of the system is complete. Updates are being uploaded daily—stay tuned.Let's go.

Automated masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power

Step 0: Welcome & Intro

Welcome to Automated Masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power. Here, an automated masterclass is just a “turbocharged” educational email course.A “course” means the material is for beginners. A “masterclass” means the material is for advanced students looking for those tiny improvements that skyrocket them from good to great.I’m guessing you signed up for this automated masterclass because you know there’s more to get out of your educational email courses. And I’m here to show you exactly how to squeeze out every last drop of potential.I call it the Value Suite. We’re going to put together:

A 3-page website that turns curious visitors into eager subscribers A free 5-day automated masterclass + free roadmap that introduces them to your unique perspective A low-ticket $25 do–it-yourself product that pays you for your knowledge—passively A high-ticket $1,000+ done-for-you service for those red hot leads in pain who want it all handled right now A 90-day follow-up sequence that keeps them engaged until they’re ready

Is that a lot of work?Yes and no. All that will be explained fully in Step 3.For now, assume your new visitor doesn’t know you, doesn’t like you, and doesn’t trust you—at all. That's why you’ll need all those ingredients to be convincing.Because these days, asking for their email address is like asking them to give you $100.More of that in Step 3.

A bit about me

My background is in tech—7+ years of app development. My interest in digital writing started last year (2024) with the arrival of ChatGPT.It’s also around that time I began following Nicolas Cole and Dickie Bush and subscribed to their Write With AI newsletter. Before that (2023), I stumbled upon Russell Brunson’s Dotcom Secrets—a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller with over 2,000 ratings. Most of the strategies I’ll be implementing here are inspired by the best ideas from that book.So I’m stronger on the tech side than on the writing side. I like handling the technical parts like domain management, website hosting, and email service provider setup—areas I hope to help you with my cloud experience. You see this website you’re browsing? I set it all up myself. And I can do it for you, too.

Why I'm doing this

Before we jump into Step 1, let’s take a second to talk about why this is so important.Because, simply “having an email course” doesn’t guarantee any ROI.People need to:

Believe in your authority
Follow a clear path from “just curious” to “ready to pay”
Stay actively engaged until they make that decision

That’s what the Value Suite does. Not only for more conversions, but for your audience to actually enjoy the experience.

What's next

Here are the next steps that can be taken at your own leisure. Everything is self paced. Use the navigation buttons at the bottom of each post to move forward and back.

STEP 1/5: Don't Make Those 3 Mistakes. Kicking off with the most predictable mistakes—generic landing pages, no offers for red-hot buyers, and no continuous optimization in place. I’m going to explain why and how much they’re costing you. STEP 2/5: The 3 Limiting Beliefs Holding You Back. It’s not a must to be a techie or coding wizard. It’s not a must to have a large email list. And it’s not a must for you to already be a famous expert. Debunking all those false myths is the next step. STEP 3/5: A Turbocharged 3-Piece Value Suite. Now it’s time to see the complete solution in action. This is where we introduce the 3-component system, and the 5 items within those 3 components. Each piece builds on the last, creating a structured path that moves leads from curiosity to conversion, seamlessly. STEP 4/5: Your Top 3 Questions Answered. After being introduced to the Value Suite, most people have many questions about cost, ROI, and integration. This is where you find answers—no more lingering doubt or confusion. STEP 5/5: Go From 0 To 1. If you made it this far, you’ve experienced the system in action. Here I show you how to launch one for yourself—regardless of your budget or experience with two paths: DIY (do-it-yourself) or DFY (done-for-you).

Let’s jump to Step 1, diving into the three biggest mistakes that keep email course creators stuck, spinning their wheels, and leaving loads of money on the table.

Automated masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power

Step 1: Don't Make Those 3 Mistakes

Time to roll up our sleeves. If you’ve ever felt like your email course should be generating more leads, more sales, or just more buzz, you’re in the right place.Because today, we’re talking about the 3 most common mistakes I see email course creators make day in, day out.And every single one of them costs you conversions—and peace of mind.

Mistake #1: Overlooking the supporting website

Most creators focus heavily on their email course curriculum: the lessons, the sequence, the educational value...What to teach, and how to teach it.But long before visitors subscribe to your course, they’re encountering a whole world of materials that either pull them in or push them away—your website content and copy.If there’s confusion (or worse, a total lack of clarity) in these early touchpoints, potential subscribers might bounce.A strong setup is what warms them up before they even read a single email from you. When you skimp on this, you’re missing the chance to hold attention and build trust before someone hands over their email address. By the time people see your actual course content, they’ve already formed a snap judgment about you—so make it a good one.

Mistake #2: Selling only one thing—or nothing at all

Many creators get so focused on delivering a helpful email course that they forget to ask for the sale.Or maybe they shy away from offering more than one product or service, thinking it’ll seem “too pushy.”That’s a surefire way to leave money on the table.Offering a single product—often priced too low—means you’re ignoring a whole segment of your audience ready to invest more. But offering no product at all means you’re training people to consume your content for free—indefinitely.Consider a tiered approach that meets different segments of your audience right where they’re at.Some may want a quick win with a low-ticket product (an ebook), others may want it all done for them with a high-ticket service.Neither is “better” or “worse”—you’re just giving your audience the freedom to choose. We’ll talk more about this tiering in Step 3.

Mistake #3: No conversion rate optimization in place

Here’s an uncomfortable truth. If you’re not constantly optimizing your email course and its supporting website—from the optin- conversions to open rates to click-throughs, from your landing page headline to your follow-up offers—your conversions will always plateau.A one-time setup might bring initial traction, but marketing is a moving target—it’s not set it and forget it.What worked last quarter might need a tweak (or an overhaul) this quarter.Conversion rate optimization keeps your email course relevant, engaging, and profitable.Maybe you need to sharpen the picture of your ideal client profile. Maybe your thank-you page could spark more engagement with a short video.Or maybe your DIY guide needs a quick refresh to reflect the latest best practices.Do you review your metrics and feedback at least once a month? Do you split-test different headlines on your landing page?If the answer is no, then you’re letting “good enough” stand in the way of truly great results.

Automated masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power

Step 2: The 3 Limiting Beliefs Holding You Back

In Step 1, we corrected the 3 biggest mistakes that are costing you the most. But there’s another layer to peel back—one that exists not in your website or in your automated masterclass itself, but in your own mind.Today we’re completely destroying those false myths and limiting beliefs that do nothing but stunt your growth. They aren’t just harmless misconceptions. They’re self-imposed barriers that can become self-fulfilling prophecies, turning your biggest fears into everyday reality. Those beliefs sneak in and sabotage your success before you’ve even started. You’ll see just how vital it is to leave them behind—so you can unlock your next level of growth and move forward at full speed and with full confidence.

Myth #1: I need a huge email list to make any profit

This is the classic “I’m too small to succeed” mindset.Having a bigger list can lead to higher revenue—but only if you have a strong offer portfolio in place. You could have 10,000 subscribers and still see abysmal results if your value suite doesn’t connect, or if you’re not segmenting.Meanwhile, there are creators with just a few hundred subscribers raking in consistent sales.Because they set up the right offer portfolio catering to their audience’s needs. And they follow up effectively.Think about it this way: Even if you have only 200 subscribers, 10% of them might be more than ready for a $25 ebook. Two or three might be perfect candidates for a $5,000 done-for-you service. What matters more than a “huge list” is how you nurture them from day one—proving your expertise, building trust, and guiding them logically to your paid solutions.

Myth #2: I need to be a techie or coding wizard

There’s a persistent belief that building landing pages and creating sign-up forms requires a background in software engineering. Not so.These days, no-code and low-code tools abound. From drag-and-drop website builders to ready-made templates. If you can copy and paste, you can build your entire 3-page website in an afternoon.Zero advanced coding knowledge necessary.Sure, you might run into a few hiccups if you’re brand-new to online business. But guess what? That’s what online tutorials, and done-for-you services are for.Tech will be part of the equation, but you don’t need to be a wizard—just willing to learn or delegate.

Myth #3: I need to already be a famous expert

Ever catch yourself thinking: “Who am I to teach anyone?”Or, “I’m not a big enough name yet—why would anyone buy from me?”That inner critic thrives on comparison. Sure, a household name can command premium prices, but being a recognized “guru” isn’t a prerequisite for success.Having real value to share is, from real experience. There are many experts who are not famous. In fact, your unique perspective—whether it’s a fresh spin on a time-tested concept or an angle you’ve tested in the trenches—can set you apart. There’s an audience out there looking for your specific way of solving problems. If anything, building authority starts when you put yourself out there. Once you start getting results, your reputation grows organically: Word-of-mouth, testimonials, referrals, case studies...If you wait until you feel “perfect” you’ll be waiting forever. And now—finally—Step 3.Let’s go!

Automated masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power

Step 3: A Turbocharged 3-Piece Value Suite

With all progress blockers out of the way, we come to the solution—at last. Here’s the Value Suite, again:

A 3-page website turns curious visitors into eager subscribers A free 5-day automated masterclass + free roadmap introduces them to your unique perspective A low-ticket $25 do–it-yourself product that pays you for your knowledge—passively A high-ticket $1,000+ done-for-you service for those red hot leads in pain who want it all handled right now A 90-day follow-up sequence keeps them engaged until they’re ready

The 1st component is the website. The 2nd component is the combined free and paid offers portfolio. The 3rd component is the follow-up sequence.

Is all that (really) necessary?

Every single one of my automated masterclasses includes all those pieces—no exception. Because:

Multiple ascension points: If someone isn’t ready to subscribe, they can browse the website. And subscribers who’d like to take the next step can buy the DIY guide if they’re not ready for the DFY service. This layered model meets people exactly where they are. Analytics: With each piece, I learn more about my audience—what’s valuable to them, what price points sell the most, in which formats do they prefer being helped. But if I had a one-size-fits-all, I’d be missing such valuable insights. Boosted know-like-trust factor: By the time someone reaches out—or buys again—they’re no longer a cold lead. They’ve already seen my credibility on display, made a small purchase, or read my content for quite some time.

Of course, not every lead will consume everything. Each piece is only there to meet a specific segment of my audience at their level—whether they want a quick downloadable resource, a DIY guide, or a DFY white-glove experience. In other words, giving options and making sure there’s something for everyone. That’s how you leave no money on the table. And no one has to slog through every step if they’re not ready or interested—they simply choose their own path.

5 more reasons if you’re still unconvinced

With petabytes of content being published every hour and new apps being launched every day to make their lives easier, online audiences are becoming increasingly selective about who they’re letting into their lives.

• Increased awareness of data privacy and email value. These days, asking for someone’s email is almost like asking for a $100 payment. If you can’t show you’re worth paying attention to—through well-structured content and relevant offers—they’ll click away faster than you can say “subscribe”.• Saturation. Getting leads today isn’t as simple as it was five years ago. Every “founder” and their cat is begging people to sign up for a newsletter or free resource. You’ll need more than a surface-level offer that showcases genuine value at every touchpoint to stand out.• Their inbox is personal space. Think about your own inbox. It’s where notes from family, friends, colleagues, and old classmates land—some of whom you’ve known for years. Now imagine a total stranger waltzing in and demanding the same level of attention. Your content and approach must equally earn the right to be there.• Content has become dirt cheap to produce—and is everywhere. With AI and endless online platforms, new content floods the internet daily. But it’s scattered, and most people don’t have time to piece it all together. By creating a curated pathway—your Value Suite—you become the go-to expert who’s simplified it all in one place.• Increased credibility. When people read more about you—and actually enjoy doing it—they naturally see you as an authority. All that content increases the surface area for collecting testimonials, driving referrals, and showcasing your expertise in action. The result? Greater trust and even more willingness to engage (and buy) down the road.

The next step covers the purpose and function of each piece in the suite.

Step 4: Your Top 3 Questions Answered

Now you’ve seen the big picture. But maybe you’re still on the fence or feeling the “analysis paralysis” that strikes right before you make a leap.Totally normal. Let’s knock down those lingering doubts.I’ll be tackling your top 3 questions—questions from people who want to upgrade their email course strategy but aren’t sure about cost, time, or whether it’ll all integrate smoothly.

Question #1: How much time does this actually take?

There are two ways to go about this. One is do-it-yourself. Where you set up your 3-page website, craft your free automated masterclass and roadmap, make your $25 DIY guide, build out the 90-day follow-up sequence, and develop your $1,000+ DFY service offering.Yes, you’ll invest time learning some tools and writing content, but if you already have an email course, you’re halfway there. You’re simply layering more strategic touchpoints. The other path is done-for-you. Where my team and I handle the heavy lifting.Setup time? Minimal. We’ll connect and gather the essentials—your brand voice, key selling points, existing materials—and then build everything from scratch. You oversee the final product and handle sign-off. In 4 weeks.Either way, once your Value Suite is set up, it runs largely on autopilot. Yes, you’ll want to tweak and optimize over time, but we’ll be talking small refinements, not major reconstructions.

Question #2: What’s the ROI on all this?

It’s no secret: Any email course, no matter how brilliant, needs consistent traffic and strong offers to see a real ROI.That said, the Value Suite spreads out your income streams and meets more of your audience where they are. Some people will jump at the $25 ebook. Others will hold out for the white-glove $1,000+ DFY service. But expect a large chunk to do nothing but consume your content for weeks, then convert once enough trust is built.

The 3-page website converts leads who are on the fence about subscribing, providing enough value (glimpses into the masterclass) to motivate them to subscribe. The free automated masterclass and free roadmap warm up every new lead, so by the time they see your paid offers, they’re already primed to buy. The $25 DIY guide monetizes those who just want a quick, tangible next step—and it functions as a credibility builder. The $1,000+ DFY service is there for the segment of your audience that wants a comprehensive, hands-off solution. The 90-day follow-up ensures you’re leaving no money on the table. Most people need multiple touchpoints before they trust a brand enough to invest.

The 3-page website promotes the automated masterclass. The automated masterclass and roadmap promote the DIY and DFY offers. The DIY guide promotes the DFY service. The DFY service implements the DIY guide. The 90-day follow-up ensures maximum uptake of DIY and DFY offers.Remember: Even if nobody buys anything, the analytics collected from the website and the masterclass should help refine your product and service portfolio for more impact.

Question #3: Will all of this integrate smoothly?

If you’ve tried any tech before, you know how complicated it is to get anything working—if at all.DIY guide: Don’t worry. A growing number of tools are built for frictionless integration. Whether you opt for platforms like Carrd, Kit, or a WordPress + plugin combo, you can create a seamless experience with minimal code.DFY service: We’ll take your preferred tech stack or recommend our go-to solutions and make sure every piece sings in perfect harmony. You’ll get a system that looks, feels, and functions like an extension of your business.

Recap

1. Cost – Investing in the DFY option s more than a small line item, but it’s a business investment. I design each piece to pay you back in new leads and customers.2. Time – The initial setup can be done rapidly (especially if you outsource). Post-launch, it’s mostly “set and forget.”3. Complexity – Keep it simple at first. Launch your 3-page website, free guide, and ebook, then roll out the rest. You don’t have to do everything in one day.4. ROI – By diversifying your offers and nurturing with a 90-day sequence, you multiply your earning potential (instead of relying on a single product or upsell).5. Integration – With modern tools, plus expert guidance if needed, you can create an end-to-end system that works like clockwork.

Up next: From 0 to 1—wrapping it all up!

Automated masterclasses: 5 Steps To Max Power

Step 5: Go From 0 To 1

You’ve now seen the Value Suite in its entirety. And you know exactly why each item matters, how they connect, and the pitfalls and myths that can stop you before you start.Today, it’s time to bring it all home.Because maybe you’re thinking: “This sounds great in theory, but how do I actually go from 0 to 1—starting from scratch or reworking what I already have?”Let’s talk about it.

Step 1: Experience the system in action

Sometimes you don’t fully believe it until you see actual proof. But what should be unsurprising is you’ve already been experiencing the Value Suite ever since you landed here.

The 3-Page Website: You landed on this website first—which gave you the opportunity to peek inside and decide if the next steps were really for you. The free automated masterclass and free roadmap: You noticed the no-cost entry point— the automated masterclass itself, providing immediate value and introducing myself and my business. It’s a good example of how a lead magnet warms up an audience. The DIY guide: Even if you haven’t purchased it yet, you’ve seen references to an inexpensive offer that’s on its way—making you aware there’s a DIY option. The DFY service: Each email introduced this high-ticket solution for those who want everything handled. You’re seeing how it’s woven naturally into the content without feeling too pushy. The follow-up sequence: Although we haven’t reached the end of the Value Suite, there’s still a longer runway of emails waiting for you—ensuring you stay engaged (and informed) well after Day 5.

All of this content was served up in a layered, self-paced way. You’re free to take only what you need, when you need it—exactly how your future audience will interact with your own Value Suite.

Step 2: Decide your path—DIY or DFY

DIY (do-it-yourself):
If you’re the hands-on type that enjoys rolling up their sleeves, the DIY route is a fantastic starting point.
My $25 ebook walks you through the entire process—each piece of the Value Suite, laid out in easy-to-follow steps, complete with checklists, examples, and time-saving shortcuts.DFY (done-for-you):
If you’re already juggling a hundred to-dos, or you simply want the fastest path to your own Value Suite, choose the DFY service.
We’ll build your entire system end-to-end. From the landing page to the free and paid guides to the 90-day sequence. You fill in a questionnaire and the rest is handled for you.

Step 3: Keep the momentum rolling

If there’s one thing that stops people from finally profiting off their email course, it’s stalling. You get excited, soak in the info...and then life happens. Before you know it, your to-do list has grown, your excitement waned, and you’re back to wishing you had a more robust lead generation system—but still not taking action.Don’t let that be you.
